El Rey Azteca - Carthage

Ive been coming here since i was little. These guys never disappoint! Always big portions, good prices, and delicious food! Ive been coming here 3 times a week with my husband and kids for good reason, we love it! Kid-friendliness: My kids are a handful and sometimes its to keep them quiet, but weve never been treated badly because of them.

The reviews for this place are monstrously exaggerated for stale chips, watered down salsa, and flavorless food. I should've gone across the street.

El Rey Azteca is a true gem. This place is so good. I don’t think the people around here know what they ate being treated with. Never would I have thought to find a place this good in such a small town in Tennessee.

Delicious margarita and cheesiest burrito I’ve ever had (definitely recommend the steak)

Food was good. Rice was a little bland but we admittedly came in kind of late. Definitely plan to give it another chance because I normally hear rave reviews about the rice.
