Compared to the delicious local food I know since I was a child, this place is nothing more than a cantine. the prices are high for the offered quality and the eating itself is dry, tasteless and unhealthy. we had to eat with children because they had starved and we didn't want to leave the beautiful gardens that are really worth a visit. the best was the gloomy, main dishes were more than disgusting and disappointing. they can eat their shoes, they taste better than the dry meat from the bbq. service looks like bodyguards that prevent them from coming. never again!
It was a Saturday and first time in budha eden. the restaurant is located in the areas, which means that they have to pay the 6 euro fee for visiting the gardens to access the restaurant. the room is large and you can see that it saw better times. we were there for lunch, this is a buffet that they can eat for 14.95 eur. To be honest, eating is not bad at all (traditional Portuguese cuisine,) but the presentation is very bad and the selection of crying and desserts is very small. the room is also badly illuminated so it looks shady. seemingly no place to repeat, as there must be much better places close by.
Nice restaurant with kids seat. All spaces clean and almost all accessible with baby car. Great gardens and views.
We visited the buddha eden almost 10 years ago when everything they could see was the great buddha. when we return to portugal, we visit these gardens and observe the progress. our visit in this juni was with friends who traveled from New...Zealand they were like us here. Sculptures are added, the Terracotta arm was painted blue, this place is better by visiting each. they will be confused as to why such a place was developed, but wonder in his joy.
