I always order the smoked potato salad when it's warm; it’s not your typical potato salad — it has a smoky flavor that is quite indulgent. I think it’s best enjoyed warm. The mac and cheese is excellent, made with Gouda cheese. I could have done without the Brussels sprouts, though. My partner really loves the bread. The server was wonderful and made our experience especially enjoyable. We visited on a Sunday at 2 p.m., and the atmosphere was very comfortable. There are plenty of parking spaces available right in front of the restaurant.
My family and I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely, our server was fantastic, and my foodie brother enjoyed everything he tasted! The boys really appreciated the selection of beers and the tasting flights. Personally, I found the potato salad absolutely divine, and the Soul Egg Rolls were both unique and delicious. I had the brisket before, and it was great—juicy and flavorful. It was a little dry today, but we didn’t let that bother us. Overall, it was definitely a win!
This is a fantastic spot for authentic BBQ, and the side dishes are delicious—definitely try the Sriracha Brussels sprouts! They use a dry rub, which I prefer over the saucy mixtures that some places use. The burnt ends were outstanding, while the ribs were a bit too soggy for my liking. They also have a great selection of beers. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!
My partner and I went on Taco Tuesday for 1/2 off tacos and beer. We had a brisket and a pork taco, she had the potato salad side and I got the Macn cheese. The best class! Between us we had 3 beers and even tried two others! The sum was only $30! Wow!
First off, the burnt ends were amazing and why they get 3 stars. The Mac cheese and smoked potato salad were tasty, and the sausage had a nice snappy casing. Unfortunately, the other meat (chopped BBQ, chicken, chicken wings, and slice of brisket) was extremely dry, lacked flavor, and the brisket was tough to cut with a knife. It was not fall apart, fork tender like the burnt ends. The kale slaw left very much to be desired, as it was literally some kale with shredded carrots and a light vinegar coating. The corn bread was a bit dry. The two available barbecue sauces were disappointing at best. Overall, the meal was way too expensive for the quality of the meat preparation.
