Ordered a dragon roll (grilled eel, avocado, eel sauce, etc. and there was hardly any eel in it. I showed the people at the counter and their response was first that they “put five pieces of eel in every roll” and then, when I pointed out the tiny size of the pieces, they said “well, eel is expensive.” They did offer to exchange my roll for something else or give me something else for free, but I would have preferred to have noticeable eel in my eel roll.
The Coen dogs are so good. Whenever I go to the H Mart, I normally stop and get a corndog from here. I am a creature of habit, so my choice of corn dog is the potato and hot dog. I have never been disappointed... the potatoes on the outside are always so crispy with a little sweetness added. These are not your average grocery store or carnival corndogs...top tier.
My friend and I tried out their sushi and a corn dog. The sushi was okay, kind of similar quality to grocery store sushi. My friend said the corn dog was also just decent. The employees were friendly and the meal didn't take too long to come out even though the food court was pretty busy. I think I was just expecting a little more from the sushi in terms of flavor and quality so overall I was a bit disappointed. It wasn't bad by any means, just don't come in expecting restaurant quality sushi.
I love their corndogs! I always get either the half&half corn dog which is crunchy on the outside and cheesy inside, or the potato corndog which has potato pieces on the outside. They use chicken sausage for all their corndogs which is a good option for those who can't eat pork. The staffs are very nice as well. Highly recommended! ?
