Street King Tacos - Casa Grande

I’m not local to this area—I’m from Minnesota, where people consider ketchup a spice and think black pepper is hot. But wow, the food here is fantastic! I had to return the very next day to sample more dishes! The birria tacos were incredible! And I need to find out how to spell “consomé” correctly because it was delicious! The ramen was great too, though I found it a bit lacking in portion size—but that’s not a complaint at all, I just had to order some more tacos to go with it! I probably won’t be back for a few years, but I really hope this place is still around when I do!

The restaurant is small and not the most comfortable, but if you're after great taste, this place truly excels at making tacos. The flavors are outstanding! As for parking, it's a strip mall layout, which can be a bit tight.

These are the best tacos not just in Casa Grande, but in all of Phoenix. I’ve tried tacos at various places in downtown Phoenix and around the city, but this spot truly stands out as one of the best.

The quesadillas were enjoyable, but the tacos were just average. The steak was a bit tough for my liking. The limes served with my meal were completely dried out; I couldn't get a single drop of juice from any of them, which left me wondering why they were even included. Some of the corn tortilla tacos were crumbly, as if they were stale. The rice lacked flavor, and the French fries tasted frozen and weren't very good. Overall, I was very disappointed and won't be returning.

The tacos here are fantastic! I especially love the birria style, which features a corn tortilla that's fried on the outside. The carne asada fries are amazing too! You absolutely have to try them at least once.
