Remington's - Cascade

Leave the small people at home and come dine at a fun little gem in Cascade! We made a reservation for 7:00 and were promptly seated. Our server saw to us right away and gave us attentive, yet spacious service all night. In fact, we were in and out within an hour! We ordered the calamari appetizer, the filet minion and the crawfish fettuccine. Each one was perfect. The calamari portion was generous and crispy. It came with a spicy aioli sauce that perfectly complemented the fry. My husband had the filet minion. It came with potatoes and balsamic asparagus. That. Steak. Went down like BUTTER! In fact, I don't even remember chewing it. My fettuccine was excellent. Spicy, creamy and completely packed with crawfish. In fact, I didn't even eat all the crawfish pieces! We had no room left for dessert, but we walked away so satisfied. My husband had a beer and the total bill (with tip) was about $85. What a treat!

We were up in Cascade this weekend for some kayaking, disc golf, and hanging out on the beach. We were keeping us and the Cascade community as safe as possible by getting take out. Remington 's is our favorite restaurant in town and we were so grateful they agreed to take out. We took the meal back to our camp spot and enjoy the delicacies. My wife got the most beautiful and delicious Cobb salad with grilled chicken. It was super fresh and so colorful. My 6-year old son is a pasta lover and he wanted some spaghetti. The chef whipped up the most lovely angel hair pasta and marinara. I ended up stealing half of it off his plate it was so good. Now for the finale. I got the Southwest Chicken and it was so good I had to write up this review. It is one of the best meals I 've had in a stretch and I do consider myself a bit of a untrained food snob. In fact, just to do this justice I had to call into the restaurant today to get a full description so that I did not hack it up. To start, southwest chicken does not do the dish justice it should be called something like Southwest Immaculate Perfection Chicken or something like that. Here is the full description from Larry, the chef, today. It 's an airline chicken breast (wing bone and meal attached) and it 's brined in a salt, honey, lemon herb brine. Then stuffed with sauteed chorizo and par baked with southwest spice mixture. The sauce is oil, garlic, shallots, onions, green bell peppers, fresh poblano pepper, tomato, corn spices and cream. Carrell made the Mexican achiote rice with Corina cheese, pumpkin seeds and cilantro. If I had not seen and tasted this dish beforehand it would be hard for me to decode all of this yumminess so I 'm just going to tell you, you have to try it, you must try it, don 't let this summer go by without trying it. Besides all of this raving on last night 's meals, Larry and Carrell are the owners and chefs and we love what they have created in Cascade. Keep it up you two!

We went there last weekend because our realtors gave us a gift certificate. The food was delicious! I had scallops and they were cooked perfectly as was my husband's ribeye. The huckleberry cheesecake is to die for!!!!

Heard good things about Remington's. We had some time before a meeting at Tamarack. I don't think I'll ever be able to pass this place up from now on. We all had something from the burger portion of the menu and everyone loved their choice. Might have to stop in for dinner later tonight. This Cascade dining done right. Way to Remington's.

Stopped at this establishment 5-11-2019 and was so happy to see such a nice place that had everything one could hope for. Great food, atmosphere, kind happy face serving you and pristine bathrooms that are second to none. Kelli was so informative in telling us about the area as this was our first visit to Cascade. We will be back! Great place to make a pitstop if traveling through. We will spend more time and enjoy dinner next time. Great place
