Rocky's New York Pizza - Cascade

This unexpected and delightful pizza place was so exceptional that we felt compelled to write a review! There's nothing quite like a family-owned, no-frills restaurant that serves great food with a genuine passion. We were amazed by the quality of the pizza (who would have thought to find this in Maryland?). We ordered the Neapolitan-style cheese pizza, which was beautiful and simple, yet truly remarkable. The crust was perfectly crispy, the cheese was deliciously hot, and the sauce was just right. The buffalo wings were equally impressive. We dined in November 2020, and we loved the warm simplicity and kindness of the staff. We even heard some Italian being spoken from the kitchen. Interestingly, we were the only customers there on that Friday night, which made the experience feel special. This was one of the best pizzas I've ever had, and I have no doubt the rest of the menu is just as outstanding.

The food here is excellent. Don't be deceived by the small size of the restaurant or its simple entrance. The staff is friendly, and the portions are generous. Although it may not look like much from the outside, be sure to give this fantastic Italian restaurant a try. You'll be rewarded with great service and authentic homemade dishes.

I haven't tried many pizzas, but I can confidently say that the ones I ordered were absolutely delicious. Each bite was filled with delightful aromas and textures. The crust was crispy at the edges with a hint of cheese, yet soft and chewy in the center. The two types of cheese were hot and gooey, oozing from the crispy corners of the pizza. I probably should have used a fork to eat it, but I just couldn't resist. I savored every bite!

I love this place! I work over the street and come here to eat all the time! You have the most amazing pizza! You can't beat big pizza! Great! Delicious food! Nice staff too!

Our little treasure nestled outside of Old Fort Ritchie in Cascade, MD! The ORIGINAL Rocky's Pizza!!! Truly excellent!!!
