I had the KARAHI PANEER which was vegan and the most delightful spices, the tofu was soft and soaked up the sauce so well. I got 1star because I share with my toddlers but it still had a tiny bit of heat flavor. The garlic naan was fantastic, rice was good. Husband got the butter chicken and said it's the best quality chicken he's had in a while. We will happily be back!
I noticed this place driving by and love both rice and curry so I knew I needed to try it! I actually got the okra and basmati rice and it was awesome! Next time I’ll try one of their delicious looking curries.
Today I visit at this restaurant and i ordered a garlic naan bread with butter chicken and there was a bowl of rice consider as a complimentary food but the shocking part was that they did charge me for that bowl even though i hadn’t order that. Which was very disappointing for me to visit at this place such a worst place i have ever visit in renton.
While rice and curry didn 't knock it out of the park, it wasn 't a complete fumble either. The first thing I want to notw is how small the curry portions are. I was surprised considering the price and that the rice is sold seperate. The stand-out dish of the night was the butter chicken, surprising even this palak paneer enthusiast. Its rich, creamy tomato sauce and tender chicken stole the show.Sadly, the palak paneer fell flat. It lacked the depth of flavor I crave. The rice and naan, however, were solid players, fluffy and flavorful. My husband 's lamb dish was, according to him, perfectly decent, but not enough to entice a return visit. Similarly, the samosas, fried paneer, and yogurt sauce all hovered in the just okay zone. So, is rice and curry worth a stop? If you 're in the neighborhood and wanting a lunch special, their butter chicken with rice and naan would be worth a try. But for a truly memorable curry experience, you might want to keep searching. I happen to really love a place right down the street that has lower ratings than this place, but Ive been going there for YEARS and have always left wanting to come back right away.Overall: 3 out of 5 stars for rice and curry. A mixed bag with potential, but needs more spice to really shine. We will likely return to try other menu items, and maybe request a spice level to the palak paneer.
Wonderful Indian cuisine made here! The chicken was tender, the naan soft and delicious, the samosas flavorful and very spicy, and the service was excellent! We will be returning for take
