Osteria Battello ristorante con alloggio

Only resturant actually open when we visited so...that sums it up quite nicely.The team was very nice but the food...seriously? Risotto with pumkin and Alpine cheese: it was closer to Mac&Cheese (and not a good one at that) and forget the whole pumkin thing - nowhere to be found.The rice was cooked properly, I'll give them that.It felt like I had traveled back to the 70s...so weird inside. Like the place had been frozen in time! On the lake though: beautiful location and view!

Went to the restaurant several time for an afternoon tea place got very nice view most of the staff are polite and professional We had the unfortunate experience to be served by a rude old waiter a tall Italian more likely in his fifties and an impolite youngster boy waiter without uniform in his late teens they where very unprofessional approach to a guest with severe disability and his carers.First visit 04 08 2016 they did over charge us for a drink we did not order or consume Last visit 07 08 2016 Make us wait longer then needed to take the order 25 min !! until we have to leave and go to the restaurant next door and have a dinner.Hospitality is about offering a customers a service and charge for it not to charge or overcharge and offering rudeness for nothing Cant understand how they got a license to run a business For my point of you i will not recommend it for a disabled person and carers or family with kids We got a nice stay at the Caslano region Great place to visit and very nice locals Thanks

Schöner Platz direkt am See unter Bäumen. Netter und freundlicher Service. Klassisches Schweizer Preisniveau für eine gute Küche.
