Alla Pieve Enoteca - CASOLE D'ELSA

It was a rainy night and not much in this town and we missed the place on our first drive through but glad we went. This evening it was fairly empty but still quite warm and appealing, with lovely white linen tablecloths and full plate settings. Even though we just had pizzas, all three were first-rate and the service was attentive.

Excellent food, fresh and authentic. Don’t miss the tiramisu. Very nice service, clean and calm. Normal prices.

We visited Alla Pieve several times with family and also with friends. Everything we had was excellent, fresh and of very good quality. Can't confirm the former review...the waiter is very attentive and professional, wine list outstanding, good beers too. This is a place for food lovers and we highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, so don't miss this one!

Was there with my family in super high season and almost no customers should have turned around all ready there. We went there because we thought it it would be like a cosy small village local restaurant. It was horrible. From outside the restaurant looked really nice and fancy. It was a nice building and the furniture was new and nice. Everything was very clean and tidy, but nothing compared to the actual experience... Arrogant waiter and lousy food. We had chicken which tasted like a bad version of KFC chicken but ten times as expensive. Pizza served as it was gold, but tasted like it was premade frozen pizza. Restaurant was a joke. Tried to make an expression of a high end restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Use your money in any other of the super cosy restaurants in the area instead. Br Lars

This was the first night of our third visit to Tuscany. We arrived late in the evening, with a reservation, in off-season, and had the restaurant to ourselves. I’m reflecting on the experience now, several months later, in the context of a great Tuscan week, which also included Michelin-starred dining. With all that in mind, Ristorante alla Pieve stood out—exceptional pastas, good local wines and a boar-based tasting menu. The charming husband/wife team (service and kitchen), was attentive and generous and very kind. We enjoyed our visit immensely and recommend it to you without hesitation!
