Le Foch - Cassel

Recommend this restaurant not only for excellent food and great views over France but for the hospitality shown by the owner/chef. His friendly nature and willingness to chat to you after has finished cooking is not to be found in many restaurants. The staff always have a smile and are very helpful even if they struggle to understand our poor French. We have been going regularly over the years and is one of our highlights to our trips to France. Thank you for welcoming us Peter and Sue x

A pleasant waitress welcomed us and asked if we would like to sit inside or out. We chose inside so were directed to a corner table with no view, no panoramique from there! The table would have benefitted from a good clean but someone had taken the trouble to wedge beer mats under one leg to stop it wobbling. We both had beers, one of the glasses was chipped in two places on the rim. Our food was acceptable but very standard fare, fine if just seeking to assuage hunger but not so good if looking for a memorable experience.

After a little misadventure at the hotel located not very far, we were very well welcomed my spouse and I as well as our little cat. very well located, clean and friendly where you will eat very well I recommend this hotel if you have to stop it do not bother to pay one that you will be much better here.

A very clean hotel, wonderful people and especially very welcome. gives very good advice. the restaurant is of good quality, fast and especially listening. the room is beautiful with a beautiful view on the square. I highly recommend it!
