Country Kitchen - Casselton

The hours are inconvenient, the menu is limited, and breakfast is no longer offered. This place doesn’t feel like a true country kitchen at all. The options are mostly burgers and fried food, and it’s a bit pricey too.

Coffee tasted legitimately toxic, food was waaaay over priced (45 !!!! for two deep fried meals?!? , The food was so not what you should get for that kind of . Condiments, S/P shakers were crusty filthy. Just no excuse for what is basically the only restaurant in town to be so icky. First time there needless to say, we will absolutely never be back. ? Customer service was decent as the young server we had was trying her best had a good attitude. ?

I found the menu to be quite limited, which was disappointing. The atmosphere of the restaurant left much to be desired; half of it was closed off, creating a very quiet and uninviting environment. The staff was also lacking — they didn’t engage much and it would have been nice to feel a bit more listened to. Their attire was unprofessional as well, with casual sweatpants, t-shirts, and unkempt hair. We even had to go up to the counter to request refills since no one came by to check on us. As for the food, it didn’t meet expectations either; it felt more like typical small restaurant fare rather than anything homemade. Overall, the quality definitely didn’t match the prices.

Very unclean place and very expensive!!! You need a better manager who knows how to run a restaurant as it should be. The waitress is here and the manager and the guy who works in the bar are very rude. He makes very strong drinks. The restaurant is very dirty and the food looks terrible when the waitress brings it to the table... I do not recommend that people go to eat there....The best places to eat in Casselton are Pizza Ranch, Red Baron or the Z's Grub and Pub the best foods at all to these restaurants great prices!!!
