Brasseria Bon Dia

We did not eat at this restaurant but the food looked good and it was busy. We had a couple of drinks and sat in the shade and the pirces were reasonable. There was a lot of local people eating which seemed a good sign and the owner was very friendly.

Nice place for lunch hidden in the back streets After a long walk around looking at the lunch time menus on offer we chose this place in the back streets in Platja d’Aro I had the muscles and the fideua and both were very good Service was OK, but nothing more

Someone reviewed they had the best pizza in Spain here, I think they need to get out more! We had a pizza, it was terrible. Service was hit and miss. Our waiter was ok but then when coming to pay the bill another chap came with the card machine, I specifically said to his grumpy face (and yes we were always nice) I'd like to pay in euros, he nodded, after the transaction I realised the he had charged my card in GBP! even though he nodded to acknowledge my request for euros! he didn't even bother to ask if everything was ok etc just walked off after taking the money. That says it all really they are not bothered about customers just the money. Food quality was below average we have had in Platja over the many visits here. Luckily we didn't spend too much money or time here and got off lightly but I would suggest eating somewhere else where the food quality and service is better. It wasn't exactly busy!
