Friends - Castell-Platja d'Aro

Great location at the beach. The drinks were nice The tapas were ok but expensive The staff was mixed, some were friendly and some more closed

This was one of our favourite places for lunch or dinner (per my previous review). This year though, something has gone wrong. I believe the restaurant changed hands. The food is average, and the service is poor. We have taken visitors to Friends twice this summer, and both times have come away disappointed. On our last visit, the order was messed up with the wrong food coming out, and when it went back to be corrected, it was forgotten altogether. The service is poor, there are no apologies for mistakes, and there seems to be a lack of service training. It is a real shame because it was spot on previously. I hope things soon return to excellent. Este fue uno de nuestros lugares favoritos para el almuerzo o la cena (según mi revisión anterior). Este año, sin embargo, algo salió mal. Atmosphere op the place is ok, looks cozy. Food is below expectations, presentation is ok, but taste is lacking and way to much salt is used to compensate that. Cocktails are aren’t good, they were last year

Friendly staff, though they are quite slow. we were in couple and the truth is that the tisana we took was very rich! and the "brother in the jester" so simple but so good at the same time. highly recommended, especially you can sit near the promenade (there are better sea views).

A very cozy place, very attentive and friendly waiters, correct service and very personal treatment, much difference with the rest of the locals of the area. It's been a pleasure.
