Have been fortunate to have lived very near for over 32 years and seen the expansion from two old fashioned beach bars to Xiringuito which is excellent. The staff are fantastic with Anabel Requena running a vert tight ship with the help of the Chef 'Leo ' and 'Nino '. There are two bars on La Conca and are all family run it 's a great place to relax and enjoy what is known as one of the best beachesthe Costa Brava. The menu is very varied and tastes tio suit all. Not cheap but what is on offer is wonderful.
Off course: if only there were some standing drinks-only tables... and yes, one could wish for even more tapa's on the menu. But that's about it to wish for. For the rest this place strikes the right balance between perfect location, food quality and price. Impressed with the kitchen staff that keep the continuous stream of supplies going until 22.30hrs. Staff is friendly and non-corporate-paced, which they should be in Spain! Do make reservations as the place is popular. Or, alternatively, make the pleasant walk in the late afternoon and enjoy (while your kids play on the beach).
Great chringuito! Optimal tapas sitting on the beach. Very convininent if you would like to spend a day in la conca.
