We have been staying in the area for a month and frequenting La Sorgente quite often, always encountering unfriendly service and an apathetic reception. Despite this, we returned as the treats were pretty decent and of a wide variety. However, our last visit sealed the deal for us to not return as I ordered a gelato brioche with cream and the cream was most certainly sour and did not taste right. When I brought this to their attention, instead of offering to rectify the situation (offering me another gelato), they tasted the cream and announced it was fine. That was that. I left and threw my brioche out in the garbage as it most certainly was not fine. We will not return to this establishment. Rude, unpleasant service!

Absolutely worth trying the cassatelle (or cassateddi in Sicilian)! We stopped at this local treasure and stocked up while on a read-trip. Great pastry. The problem with these ricotta cream turnovers, which are ricotta-filled turnovers common in the eastern part of Sicily and specific to the town of Trapani, is that they are hard to resist and even harder to stop at only one. A lot of locals eating at this cafe which is always a good sign.

Uno dei più famosi bar di castagna e dintorni per le tipiche casse fritte di mezzaluna ripiene di dolce ricotta e peperoni di cioccolato. il bar si incontra quasi all'ingresso della castagna ed è un must per i siciliani e i turisti. il bar offre anche una grande varietà di dolci fatti in casa e gelati, ma anche rosticceria. Insomma, tutto quello che un turista deve assolutamente provare! i prezzi sono in media, personale cordiale. Tuttavia, non dovrebbe essere sorprendente se c'è grande confusione all'interno, il posto è quasi sempre pieno di persone in tutte le ore!
