Chiringuito Monaroja - Castelldefels

Location, location, location. This place is right on the beach and has an unbelievable view. We had pork quesadillas and sangria and both were delicious. Service is more relaxed in Europe, so you have to let the waiter know when you anted him to come. When he did he was friendly and helpful. We came back a second time in our 3 day visit and would recommend it for a laid back vibe.

Would not recommend this terrible place, I asked to the waiter if the next table was our because I was 1 hour waiting and he just answer like that: I you want you can go and clean, and give me the tray! After get the table, more 30 minutes to order, just to order, while we were waiting our hamburguer, I am pregnant, they just didn't care, didn't put trought our orden to the kitchen, to resume, pregnant I had to wait 2 hours to get a hamburguer that was not even well done!

Excellent food served with consistent quality. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. Varied menu offering fresh fish dishes as well as meat and veggie options. Presentation very good too.

At the Gava end of the beach in Castelldefels is this little gem of a chiringuito! Cold beer and soft drinks and then fab Mexican style food. We had the pulled pork tacos, the beef tacos and the breaded cauliflower tacos. All great. Burgers on offer too. Made a change from the usual beach food. They have sunbeds and parasols for hire on the beach in front. Great place!
