Lo Stallino - CASTELNUOVO RANGONE

Our favourite restaurant in Castelnuovo Rangone. Very efficient and super nice service. Excellent venue close to the main square and the church with ample parking. I had beef (manzo) which melted in the mouth. Together with patatine arrosto a bargain at 16 euros. Highly recommended. Only room for improvement is the light. Sitting there during night time feels a bit like being placed under the lamps in the waiting room of your local dentist...

We went here after pressing our concierge for a place that mostly locals go to and we had already tried all his great recommendations. Hard to find because it is elevated in a corner complex see the photo. go up the side stairs and there is a little courtyard with another restaurant but this one has an outdoor seating area as well. Food was outstanding and cheap. Be prepared to navigate the menu in Italian only because that is who they obviously cater to and ... your in Italy so get out of your comfort zone. You will be well rewarded. All we could eat for Euro 30 a piece including their most expensive Lambrusco at 14. yes Lambrusco. This is all we drink when we are here because its not your college dorm Lambrusco! Tell them, Rocky sent you........they won't know what you are talking about but it will be fun!

I went there for a birthday lunch, people are very friendly, good service and tasty food. You can find simple dishes as well as special dishes but in any case you'll have the best.

Locali ristrutturati con nuova gestione, ampia scelta di piatti dagli antipasti al dessert, mangiare un sformati di patate su panna parmigiana e perline al delicato e delizioso balsamico, come la selezione di gioco con crosta di pane con fonduta di taglio, e come corso un grande fiorentino di Manzina Prussiana dal menu fuori che sembrava mangiare burro con morbidezza. Per finire un giro di vaniglia e fragole deliziose. Mi dispiace.

Tutto molto gentile e disponibile, menu ben strutturato e ogni gusto è una piacevole scoperta. Il risotto di aceto balsamico è fantastico.
