Reached with a beautiful walk starting from the Alpe di siusi cable car, special and attractive menu: always excellent hay soup served in the bread. prices a little high. the “MA” in the title of the review depends on the smart attitude of the owner: prepare cash because incredibly the card is the ATM never work.

We had a delicious lunch here. It was foggy so we wanted to dine inside. We got to sit in the small cabin, so cute. Service was speedy and friendly. The rosenspritz was so good. Light and refreshing. The charcuterie plate was delicious. The meats had a nice smoky flavor. I loved the honey and horseradish served with the cheese. The ravioli with cheese made in house was so tasty. Overall a cute place with a wonderful lunch.

Nice place, but too much sophisticated for a Malga restaurant in the Dolomites. Better to book in advance (during high season to avoid long waiting. The location is traditional but the traditional Tyrolese food is elaborated (flowers decorations,… and the price is excessive (compared to the other locations we tested .

Recommended by the hotel. One of many “huts” all over the Seiser Alm. This is nestled on the Alm, not too far a walk from Compatsch (can take the Panorama lift and walk down (look for signs on the trail) or walk up. Had Kaiserschmarrn which is a specialty dish of the alps (originally from Austria). The one here was exceptional topped with stewed fresh apricots. This was absolutely delicious. It was one of several had over the several days I was on the Alm and definitely one of the best! The hostess was also delightful. Didn’t have anything else, but I’m sure everything they have is delicious based on the one dish we had

Best Apple strudel ever! One of the travel sites I consulted mentioned this place as a good stop for food. When we asked the bike rental shop for a recommendation for good coffee, the guy (who used to be a tour guide) recommended Gostner. We are so glad he did. Not only was the coffee good, but the Apple strudel and German pancake was absolutely delicious. Honestly, the Apple strudel was the best I’ve ever had! The service was wonderful too. We felt so welcomed. We wish we could have returned but ran out of time.
