La Mansarda - CASTELSARDO

Lovely out of town location, pleasant surroundings. Interesting dining experiencing as the restaurant was quiet the day we visited and it maybe was a bit early in the evening and we were a little apprehensive as to what we'd be served up. But no need to worry. When the food arrived it was lovely. Good portion sizes and very tasty. Would definitely visit again if in the area. Grazie La Man Sarda

This very elegant restaurant is located a stone's throw from the Elephant Rock and outside the center of Castelsardo. It has a nice car park embellished with a weeping willow. My wife and I spent a very pleasant evening there. The starters are excellent, the pizza is the best eaten in Sardinia, well leavened, cooked in a wood-fired oven and very digestible, superlative mixed frying, homemade tiramisu made to perfection. The owner is very kind.

I have never eaten so well all my life and I have turned around the world a little I can assure you that it is the most beautiful place in the world to try to believe good appetite

Lovely evening meal here. Cheese platter to start followed by a huge fish dish and delightful desserts. Really worth the short drive out of Castelsardo and very reasonable prices.
