Been wanting to revisit after a gap of several years. Still offers a fantastic range of beers. Grainstore often Ten Fifty this time plus the increasingly popular Ossett White Rat, a Crouch End Goat brew and I chose an old favourite Summer Lightning. Disappointingly even the 2nd point was very cloudy. Someone also had a cloudy pint of Ten Fifty. Only a handful in on a blustery Sunday afternoon. I'll return again, as I'm sure the experience will be better and the beers on offer are good Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
Had an absolutely delicious Sunday lunch here. The roasts were properly home cooked and they went out of their way for a vegetarian in the party. Extremely good value for money and the best food I’ve had in a pub for quite some time. Highly recommend
We celebrated my husband's surprise 30th birthday here with lots of amazing food and drinks! We had a party of 40+ people and the owners Sue and Will were so friendly and accommodating with both adults and kids. They have a lovely room off to the side of the main bar where we celebrated throughout the evening with great food, drinks and music. This pub has a great atmosphere and all the staff were welcoming, I couldn’t recommend it enough. We will be back again. Thank you!
A warm welcome and just a lovely experience. Great hosts, gave us a table even though they were booked up. Lovely Sunday bite in a lovely cosy pub. Thank you.
