The cakes and sweets here are delicious. Whether you want a quick bite or to sit down and eat at one of their tables, you can take everything to go. Located in the basement of a men's clothing store, this place is bustling with activity during lunchtime but quieter in the afternoon.
Asian bar was pretty tasty. It was a random find but glad we found it. I did the fried rice and it was very flavorful and filling. It is a small eating area since it is bar style so expect to wait a little for seating. I think we waited maybe 10-15 minutes. Overall certainly worth the price. We probably spent 20 aud per person and that's including a beverage. I even tried the pad thai and it was also delightful.
The David Jones Food Hall Oyster Bar has been around for decades. The food is always fresh and tasty however it is quite expensive. If you have a problem with sitting on stools this is not the place for you. I don't believe there is any low seating area for wheelchair accessibility. Classic dishes include the Seafood Chowder and the oysters Naturale Kilpatrick or Mornay. The chowder used to be chunkier and to be honest that was better. The oysters are fresh tasty in any variation, however they are on the small size.
I recently had lunch at Market Street Kitchen. The prices for both the food and drinks were reasonable, making it great value considering its location in the CBD. While the portion sizes were not large, the food was delicious and I had an enjoyable meal overall. The beer and wine selections were impressive and reasonably priced. The service was pleasant and efficient. The restaurant is a bit hidden away, but I would definitely come back for another enjoyable lunch.
This restaurant is the perfect place for shoppers, offering a wide variety of choices.
