Cafe Max - Castle Point

Upon arrival we was told we needed to book but they managed to find a small table for two by the window. Once sat we was left by ourselves for 20 mins waiting for our order to be taken. A long stare at the kitchen prompted staff to come over and take our order. Once the food had finally arrived after waiting 40 mins, it wasn’t warm, the plate was hotter than the food. It seemed to be very poncey for what it actually is. Portions was small. Very over priced. Staff was not helpful, didn’t take pride in working for the business

Always our go to place for lunch. Food lovely, staff are great. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are fantastic with my little granddaughter Orlaith.

Enjoyed Afternoon Tea in a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The service was good and the food was scrumptious. Would definitely recommend. X
