Noodles Company - Castle Rock

Poorly ran, always out of everything. My expectations aren't that high for a Noodles Co to start and this place doesn't even hit the low bar I've set.

Runny zucchini noodles with no flavor. Last time we got Noodles there was a hair in the dish but we still gave it another shot. Staff was friendly enough but the place was a mess. Doesn't any fast food places wipe down their tables, doors and counters anymore?

Worst Mac Cheese bowl ever. Pressed squares of gross chicken. It looks like they took the breading off chicken nuggets and threw it in the Mac and Cheese. Whatever happened to the barbecue pork barbecue pork Mac and cheese at least that was real pork

Really disappointing. Noodles and co used to my favorite fast food place. We were the only people there, and we stood waiting to order for a good 5 minutes. All of the employees were in the back somewhere, with the counters/kitchen left completely unattended for almost the entire hour we were there. After ordering, we waited over 25 minutes for our food (two standard menu items and two kids meals). We were eating there, not to-go, but our food was packed to-go and placed on the counter without any notice or attempt made to call out the name on our order, so we had no idea it was our food and waited probably an additional 15 minutes before thinking to check the online order pick up area (almost 40 minutes total). When an order would come in, 6 or 7 employees would come shuffling out of the back area, cook the order, then disappear. Any employees that lingered in the front of the store were standing and staring at their phones. The trash cans were overflowing, and the food was dry (not like how noodles used to be 5 years ago). We will not be eating at noodles and company again.

We absolutely love Noodles & Company and are excited that this location has opened close to our new home. It's one of the few places where I can get my kids to eat broccoli, especially since delicious Rice Krispie treats are served for dessert. The food quality is always impressive. This has been one of our favorite restaurant chains for the past 20 years.
