Tuscany - Castletown

Last night, we dined at Toscana for the first time, and I must say it was one of the best restaurants I've visited on the island. The food was outstanding, and the complimentary glass of prosecco upon arrival was a lovely touch. The customer service was professional and friendly, making the experience even better. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and cozy, and it was well-furnished and clean. We were also offered a complimentary treat, which I thought was a nice gesture! At the end of the evening, we were given a rose, which added to the wonderful experience. Overall, everything was excellent, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. I will definitely be back!

First and foremost, they get the little things right, making it one of the most professional restaurants on the island. They have cleverly managed reservations to optimize efficiency, ensuring that the servers and kitchen aren't overwhelmed, and guests don’t have to wait too long. The complimentary glass of Prosecco upon arrival set a great tone for the evening (it would be nice if they also offered a non-alcoholic option). The restrooms feature lovely soaps, adding to the overall ambiance. The Manx queen scallops appetizer was served in a beautiful Chardonnay sauce. The main course was impressive—large in portion and boasting a complex flavor profile with various fresh herbs. My only suggestion would be to add a crispy skin or crackling to enhance the dish. To top it off, the tiramisu was the perfect finale. Overall, I highly recommend Toscana.

Excellent and proper Italian food as you can expect to eat in Italy, served in an atmospheric and friendly environment. The house wine was of very high standard and the spirits at the end of the meal of a quality even superior to the ones you can taste in Italy itself. The free prosecco and the free hors d'oeuvre were a very nice touch and they were exquisite. I finally managed to have a proper Italian expresso on the Island and that was a wonderful ending to the meal. Price was commensurate to quality.
