Mama Chely - Castro

A nice place, very authentic. They are really passionate about authentic Mexican food. It was a pleasure to dine and to share appreciation of the Mexican food. They have Modello and Pasifico beers, several good tequilas. Margarita was great too! Great place if you look for some variety :

Driving around Lake Iseo and came across this lovely Mexican, we had 2 burritos to take away and they were great! Thank you to the lovely couple who run it and to the man your English is great!

We were very lucky to have our Airbnb just above this place. We tried it last night and it couldn't be better! Firstly, this is a real restaurant and you may have to wait a bit longer than in some other places where food is already prepared. It wasn't a problem for us at all as we love to take our time with a glass of wine or cocktail. Oh yes, they DO make perfect margaritas! They have a small selection of wines yet very good ones. We were given free nachos with spicy dips while waiting. The food is freshly prepared everyday and you won't be served anything which is cooked from frozen or the day before. We had burritos, chimichangas and probably the best guacamole I've ever had and we all loved it. Both food and drinks were reasonably priced. We found out that the chef is Mexican so she knows exactly what she cooks. The gentleman who served us was friendly and attentive and he even gave us complimentary tequilas at the end of our meal (but that may not be a standard thing so please don't expect it, just in case : . There are only two people working and they're both the owners. They may get busier sometimes but they do love their business and they do it with passion. We felt very welcome and we're going to be back in the next few days.

Abbiamo mangiato sul posto, il posto all'interno pieno di belle decorazioni, musica ad hoc, proprietari molto accoglienti, il cuoco veramente buono, cibo super buono, assolutamente un posto consigliato, abbiamo a: chimichangas (delizioso), alas di pollo delizioso) e tacos, insieme con un guacamole degli dei, allora non possiamo valutare i deserti veramente buoni. e una vista panoramica del meraviglioso lago iseo. per chi apre il buon cibo messicano, questo è il posto ideale.
