Hostal El Manzano - Castrojeriz

We (3 women walking the Camino) stayed 1 night at this atmospheric hostal. It was by far the nicest and cosiest hostal of our trip. In the evening, it is cosy staying in the bar where you can also have a good meal. And in the morning have an atmospheric breakfast. The rooms are also perfect, cosily decorated. Highly recommended for anyone walking the Camino who doesn't want to stay in one of those concrete hotels. Very friendly owner and other crew. Fine terrace, next to the old church.

Just as you enter Castrojeriz, opposite the Church is the Hostal el Manzano. A very comfortable room with en suite bathroom for just 35 euros. Both very clean. A good bar which offers simple food, pizzas/paella and a good breakfast to set you up for a very long climb an hour or so after leaving the village.

Directly by the Camino Francese through Spain. For tired feed a heaven! Nice room and bathroom, all very clean. Lovely bar breakfast. Only pizzas/simple food in the evening, but the host offered to drive my tired feet to a restaurant in the centre, about km away. It did not become necessary. It was too good at the place!

Sólo hicimos un alto en el camino para descansar un rato y tomar algo. Es un lugar precioso y el personal muy atento. Gracias
