Caffetteria Sant'euplio - Catania

Fabulous selection of nibbles served with the cocktails which were generous in size and well priced. Just off the main high street

We had walked past a few times on our way to and from EH13, where we were staying, and noticed that the tables were normally taken up by locals, which we regard as a good sign. But this afternoon we were thirsty, and there were tables free, so we stopped for a Spritz with some lovely nibbles, which quickly turned into more drinks as we were enjoying them so much. Looking for a breakfast a couple of days later, and because of the welcome we had received, we made our way back to enjoy amazing pastries, and coffee. Unfortunately this was our last day in Catania, or we would have visited again, but it is now firmly on our list of places to visit again when we return to Catania.

Strongly recommend the apple pie. The taste is out of this world. They must have a secret ingredient :

Excellent service friendly and friendly, excellent breakfasts with excellent homemade cakes. Ideal for lunch break with salad and unique dishes well made.
