Catalano Food_f.lli Scaglione - Catania

I stayed at this place with friends with a coupon but it was not completely as we expected it. Meanwhile the coupon provided for a basic lunch or meat or fish but when we arrived we saw that fish dishes were not ready, on the contrary the fish was exposed in a freezer right at the entrance. Also the photo on groupon showed glass glasses and a nice presentation of the dish, but in reality plates and paper glasses are used. Also there are not completely photos of the place, in short, it is very different from what you would expect. Despite this the food is not bad, the baked pasta is very good, the really well cooked chicken and the portions are very abundant, but the dessert was a viennetta taken I think of the supermarket. In addition, with my friends, we made the accounts on the price of the same food on the basis of the prices displayed and compared it with what we spent with the coupon: in the end we spent as much as or maybe even more, despite the coupon reported a discount. For all these reasons I give a low vote and it is a shame because I repeat, food is not bad, I would only want more transparency.

A simple roundabout on the Rapisardi Avenue in Catania, just after the colourful rhonal market. It has a large outdoor space (covered) equipped with tables to consume meals directly on the spot. Very good cuisine with abundant dishes, nothing bad service. Good value for money.

I ate dishes that I forgot the taste. The lasagna like my grandmother did, taste and smell of that Mediterranean sauce aroma. I ate yesterday some delicious cannelloni of ricotta and spinach, and the seconds or of fish or meat always fresh (which is very important) moderate prices,which I do not mind. I recommend it to all my friends.

I didn't know that a few steps from my office I would have had the opportunity to eat so well at this price..... You can find many things between the first seconds and the contours, we have taken 3 baked pasta dishes and 3 small bottled coca and we paid 9 euros, obviously depends on what you take but surely the quality first and from Catalan you can find it, next:
