Etnea Roof Bar Restaurant By “una Cucina”

Food quality poor, no taste, not worth the money.

The setting is amazing with sweeping views of Catania and Mt Etna. Unfortunately, that where the positives end. The staff were dismissive and totally apathetic towards us. The food was overpriced and sub-par at best. Great spot for a drink but save your euros and eat elsewhere.

Food looks the part but lacks that something special. Waiting staff have no passion for the job; it’s simply that… a job. Waited ages to be offered dessert or to pay. Neither materialised so we stood up to leave. The view of Etna is what this restaurant is basing its reputation on. That and fancy looking but dull food. I so wanted to like it, too. :
