Great setting for lunch or dinner. Food was also very nice, we had fish and a pizza. We just found staff were not very attentive.

The sea is full of plastic cup and plastic straws I did get them and I asked to help me or to clean up after night party, they don’t care at all. It’s unbelievable how they answer, the manager was busy while eating for lunch so he didn’t want to talk to me! Never come over here cause there are many other place were they care about costumers and they care about opinions. The 2 points are just for the lifeguards Marco and Giacomo really nice and polite! I did feel sorry for them while I mentioned my frustration but they listen to me and apologised even if there are not the ownre

We just went here for dinner tonight. We read the reviews, but it was very close to our apartment rental and frankly the location and tables are beautifully set. Unfortunately the wait staff are not fluent in much English at all and while we had a very good appetizer the main meal was absolutely awful. They didn't understand my husband wanted a beer and brought a large bottle of wine and then didn't have an ingredient for a drink I ordered. I just can't get over how bad the food was! We walked away from a lot of the meal and our drinks. Not going back.....

Lido Bellatrix in Aci Castello is fabulous. Authentic Sicilian dishes with a modern edge served in an outstanding setting on the volcanic rock over the sea. The owner, the chef and the waiters are all so friendly, so professional and mKe sure your experience is superb. The pasta dishes have Arabic Sicilian ingredients so you have almond cheese and pistachios or squid octopus and clams with fresh pasta cooked in covered in the oven so the juices are all captured. The secondi are varied fish grilled with sautéed vegetables. A pastry chef comes to your table and creates the dessert before your eyes on a flat surface creating a landscape of Catania with the Etna all made of sweets. The desserts specialty is semifreddi one of pistachios and a light cream with hazelnuts and the other dark chocolate rolled in hazelnuts with a mouse in the center. A wonderful eating experience among the nicest staff.
