Now trading as the Stag, this place is absolutely fantastic. Food, service, atmosphere perfect and realistic prices too. What's not to like. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Having booked 6 people in for a meal four days after their opening, we were all really impressed. We all had the Sunday roast (one vegetarian) and everyone agreed how delicious it was. Good sized portions and the cauli cheese was amazing! My husband thought that 2 slices of pork loin was not quite enough however he agreed it was all cooked perfectly. Excellent service and the decor was looking good as they have had a refurb. Definitely will visit again.
