Well, after having spent many years in Italy and two years in Piemonte, I would say that do not spend your time and money to got to this place, food is more than average and it's expensive for a small lost village. Service was lousy with false smiles and excuses, we were served much later that many people who arrived after us. The menue is a claissical one in Piemonte, the wine list is good. The desert was just bad.My Italian friend was sorry for what we were eating. The problem is the quality. One only advise, if you would like to taste the classical and historical food of this part of Italy, go to a small village Mombello Monferrato closer to Casale, and book a table at Dubini's restaurant , here you will get the perfect service, great food, friendly atmosphere and perhaps new friends.

A small, warm place, the white goose is the leitmotive of all decorations. The chef is very shy, he interprets traditional piedmontese cuisine with passion. Good entrees, homemade pasta, only limit is that menu does not vary in time. The wife welcomes you always smiling, and the wine list is great.

Ho provato antipasto misto con vitello tonizzato, insalata russa, giardiniere e altre specialità, primo taglio con funghi porcini freschi! abbondanti anche porzioni!
