We are here at 11u40 with a small child who is 20 months. we sat and received a high chair with the botanical that it was over 100 years old and should be treated with great respect. enter two concerned parents who have frightened to death. that her child would harm a piece of antiques. 40 minutes after sitting, they came to order us. our family turned around now to run around with a cat child to make sure that she would not tear off the **** place. a group of 6 went in, got their drinks and visited them. we waited for this pizza. After an hour we finally wait two half-baked dough pieces with a cheese that is thrown on, all dried in a bath with oil. 18 euro, and a nightmare later we were back on the bordstein and the countdown could begin to our inevitable outrage. long story short: avoid this place to all taste.
I started with a glass of Malbec, which was the host recommendation they also have a Merlot, I guess French, as housewine. I ordered meat in beer sauce, the other regional dish was rabbit, so I went for the meet. To close a mousse the...chocolat. All in all I was happy and close with a wisky.
We went for a casual light dinner. Since it seemef such good value, I opted for the 3-course 13€ menu: shrimp samosas, good, baby lamb chops, excellent, and chocolate cake, good. My husband ordered the 4- cheese pizza which had small rouds of a soft...rinded cheese on top, very good. Overall a very pleasant experience.
It was a small place in the centre of Bruxelles and it was really homey, the food is delicious and well made, not expensive at all!
