Chipotle - CAVE CREEK

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant thanks to the attentive and ambitious young staff working there. I visited during the last hour of business one evening, and the employees were both kind and professional. I'm really glad I chose this Chipotle over another one that was nearly the same distance away. I will definitely return!

We received exactly what we ordered, and the food was served hot with no items out of stock. However, a word of caution for those with celiac disease: the staff at this location appeared to be unaware of the company’s specific food handling procedures for preventing cross-contamination with allergens. We've had much better experiences regarding gluten awareness at other Chipotle locations.

If you enjoy picking up a "make your own taco" meal for your kids that is missing most of the necessary ingredients, then ordering online and using the drive-thru is definitely for you! If you prefer receiving incorrect orders with wrong ingredients and half of what you ordered missing, this is the right place! Honestly, the service is the worst I've experienced. The food is always cold, and I've consistently felt cheated by not receiving everything I ordered. I will never return, which is disappointing since we were really looking forward to this place when it first opened. I can't understand how it can be managed so poorly, but it certainly is.

UPDATED 2022: This store is truly managed and run by teens. Seems to be a normal thing where the items run out before closing. Everyone is cleaning the cooking equipment as early as 7pm when they close at 10pm. Almost never make enough food to make it till close. In my own experience it?s common to be told, sorry out of chicken or salsa. The product being advertised is not sold during all hours?lol. Even today, 7pm and ?sorry we have no chips??.?guess we ran out???REALLY!!! CHIPS ARE STALE OR NOT COOKED LONG ENOUGH! Again, great staff and good bowls. The staff is truly good people/15 year olds. But always seem to be in a hurry to leave at 10pm. ?????

If you love slow, ineffective, unclean counters, and orders that are always wrong, and out of stock items, then I cannot recommend this location enough. Oh, and I recommend the guacamole especially if you like it brown, stringy, with huge chunks of unripe avocados. They're truly doing life right.
