Pizza Doc - CAVRIGLIA

We were staying at Villa Teresa nearby and decided to have a pizza night for 19. My wife and I went a little early to order and had fun placing order with owner. She spoke a little english and my wife and I spoke even less Italian. But with a lot of pointing and hand gestures and a lot of smiling from both sides, we placed the order. When we came back everything was ready. We ordered an assortment and every pizza was better than the last one. The owner could not have been more friendly and helpful, I would strongly recommend Pizza Doc, a great place for pizza!

We discovered Pizza Doc from the recommendation of staff at the place we were staying (Borgo Di Fontebussi) and couldn't have been happier with our discover. The pizzas here are absolutely delicious, I'd go so far as to say they're the best pizzas we've had during our time in Italy so far. They're also really well priced! One night during our stay in the area we ordered 15 pizzas to feed 20 people and the staff were incredibly accommodating and quick in their preparation. The owner Candida couldn't have been sweeter and was an absolute delight the few times we visited, she alone would make the trip here worth it, the fact that the pizzas are so delicious seals the deal!

The staff is very friendly the place have just two tables inside but the bad thing is the pizza The dough is open better say pressed by machine and looks and taste like cookies

Visited here twice during our stay in Cavriglia. Good quality, no frills pizza at a decent price, served with a smile by a lovely lady who spoke very little English. Lots of locals seemed to use the place, so the poor lady was rushed off her feet both times we visited, but as is the Italian way we grabbed a beer from the fridge and enjoyed the evening while she did her stuff.

This little place is based in the square. Great pizza made as you wait. The girls don't speak much English, but who cares, just pick a pizza because they are all great. A decent queue sometimes so maybe call through beforehand. A small eating area outside, but mainly a takeaway...great place. can't believe there aren't more reviews on this..
