Zubuchon - Cebu City

This legendary restaurant, known for its “Lechon” or pork dishes, hails from Cebu. We had lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed the “sisig,” which is chopped pork served sizzling on a hot plate, as well as eggplants with pork, grilled pork, and pork floss. Everything was incredibly delicious! The service was excellent and very friendly too.

1st time to eat here. a friend recommended the place while he didnt knew im not eating pork. ordered seafood as well. guard of escario is kind enough to guide us to park. crew of zubuchon are very nice. food comes out VERY FAST!!!! LOVE IT!!!! will definitely go back here! funfact: this shop tends to change menu regulary... i have yet to experience that... overall experience? 4thumbs up!!!!

The best lechon I've tasted so far! Other dishes are yummy too. Will definitely come back here when I visit Cebu again.

I've heard from many people that this place is overrated and that their lechon isn't good, but I have to disagree and give it a solid 5 stars. My cousin and I visited for the first time and ordered a spicy zubuchon along with a platter of garlic rice while we waited for my brother to join us for dinner. As soon as the food arrived, the aroma was so enticing that we couldn't resist taking a bite. Before we knew it, my brother was still on his way, and we had already devoured a quarter kilo of lechon and the rice. We had to order more for him, but it was so delicious that we ended up enjoying the next batch of lechon together with him!

My family and I are regular visitors to this restaurant. We really enjoy the atmosphere, the ample parking space, and the excellent variety of food. They don't just serve lechon; they also have delicious slow-cooked pork adobo, perfectly flavored talong ensalada, tasty itlog maalat ensalada, very filling meat lumpia (which my kids love), and gambas, among other dishes. Their desserts are also definitely worth trying. If you're craving lechon, it arrives daily at 10 AM and 5:30 PM (according to one of the staff), and I should warn you that it sells out quickly, usually by around 1 PM. While there’s no restroom inside the restaurant, there is a sink available for handwashing. They used to offer free peanuts for customers waiting for their food, but they don’t do that anymore. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.
