Bishop's Bbq Country Deli - Cecil

Ordered food and waiting 20 mins after ordering and still no food. I sit at my table with my number assigned and the kids running this place are walking around doing whatever. I stop the girl who took my order and asked if she knew when my food would be out and she told me she didnt know and did not remember me ordering. Ask if she could check on it so she ask another employee who told me my order was never given to the back kitchen despite getting my receipt and a number. The food here in my past experience is normally great but the service is terrible and the attitude of I dont care is in every employee there. Its a shame that this place is so mismanaged.

Ordered a carry out shrimp post boy for my daughter and she gave it good reviews. It didn’t take long to get our order and the staff were friendly.

Great bbq two minutes off of 22. Plenty of parking for our travel trailer. Would definitely go back. Relaxed atmosphere, you order at the counter. They also have ice cream, cupcake and desserts

I’ve eaten at Bishops 90 times or better. At least 25 times this year. I’m done with them. 15 minutes before closing they’re sweeping under your feet and stacking chairs. Your tip makes no difference. The kids that run the place after 6 do not care about the job they do. Finally tonight, I bought 3 dinners and the brisket serving size was half what I’d come to expect from previous visits. That’s the worst way to make up for your declining revenue. When they had a Yelp page I wrote great reviews every visit. I understand why your Yelp page is gone. The Waffle House is a far better experience. Sad day for Tupelo. The little bit of brisket was good, once I got them to get the hot sauce out of the refrigerator. They put away 2/3s of their sauce 45 minutes before closing. IHop and Waffle House at least act like they value my business. Bishops gets no more of my business.

Bishop's BBQ in Saltillo has the best bbq in the Tupelo area! Try their gator taters and fried green tomatoes too!
