Kalama’s Island Style Hawaiian Food

Smoothie is way better than I expected got a lot of food for a great price. Ill be able to have leftovers!

Both the fish and the chips were burnt ,and dried out and hard. There was no rice with the tiny container of gravy it was supposed to go on. The macaroni salad was awful! Tasted old.No flavor. Only thing good was the smoothie out of the entire meal thats all that was edible.Thought I would try a new place and very disappointed.

So, we got a Hana Plate (Chicken Katsu, Teriyaki Chicken, and Shortrib w/ macaroni salad), Chicken Katsu, and Musubi. This...place...has an aversion to salt and pepper. Not one of any of the meats was seasoned. The sauce on the shortribs and teriyaki was VERY light barely tasted different from just having plain chicken and beef. I suspect this is because they expect their Katsu sauce to do the heavy lifting it is EXCEEDINGLY vinegary, like they took A1 sauce and added MORE to it. ALSO! The Musubi ordering is VERY misleading it is, in fact, $3.50 for ONE Musubi. Not the four shown in the photo. In no spot under the menu item does it say this. If there was one bright spot, it was the Macaroni Salad. But, thats not worth the $60 spent in Store fees, delivery fees, and dasher fees.

My favorite way to eat coconut cream pie, covered in mold! we chose not to eat the rest of the order just because of this.

The Maui Plate could feed a family. Lots of tasty food to me is a winner!
