When entering AF the first thing I noticed was the smeared glass of poor cleaning attempts that many businesses fail to notice these days which for me raises my awareness to the overall cleanliness of a restaurant or anyplace for that matter. We were sat at a booth in timely fashion in what I would call a mishmash of 70’s and 80’s dining decor that gave the room a stale Goodwill ascetic. Our server was on point and efficient. AFs menu is mixture of Asian cultures with some bland Iowa presentation to average everything out. My egg roll salad came in at 13$ and wasn’t nearly as good as I’ve had elsewhere with noodles encompassing most of the bowl and greens hardly noticeable. The egg roll was was bland with a Sysco texture. Not a bad meal nor really tasty. Just kind of hanging out in the of pallet road. I’ll probably wander in for a lunch visit sometime but I don’t feel the need to ‘hurry’ back. Enjoy!
If you are looking for good pho, don 't bother. It is very watered down tasting and lacks that pop you get with good pho. Service was poor.Food: 3/5
Very clean restaurant with good service. The food could have used more spice but that is on us for not asking for it. The spring rolls were amazingly the peanut sauce was 10/10!Food: 5/5
Always super inviting environment. Always clean as well! I will say this is the only pho restaurant in this area. But the pho is one of the best I've had.Back in Washington State, there were pho restaurants on every corner. So we got really used to eating it.I love how this place respects my request for no cilantro. I know, I'm one of those.Great Thai food as well! Please come here and try what they have to offer!
The ladies don't seem to be too attentive or care that they have tables. I watched one of them drop a container that held clean spoons pick up each of the spoons that had been on the ground and placed them back in the container and on the shelf for cooks to grab from for the soups. The size of my shrimp and chicken fried rice was very small for the price of $15. Had pineapple on menu but no pineapple available. Ordered an appetizer and got it after all of our food was already at the table. Husband ordered a hot chicken soup but didn't have much chicken in it. We won't be coming back the prices just don't justify the service you receive.
