We were finally able to go back, since we kept missing when they were open.Staff friendly as alwaysMenu, very limited (AND BTW not what’s advertised on here)!Quick serviceFood, WoW SO disappointed I would have rather eaten at McDonalds ?I really don’t foresee them staying open much longerAnd we will NOT be going back!
Goodfella’s Bar Grill located on Wicker Ave in the town of Cedar Lake, IN is a gangster themed style bar grille. There is access off Wicker Ave by side street to the parking area. My first impression was how eye catching the building was. It was brightly lit as you walk up to a chalk drawing of a body .. Off to the side props to take photos with.. Once inside famous gangsters lined the walls as well as machine gun. There is a photo opportunity to add your face to a wall of other (convict) customers should you choose which I thought fun ..Lots of stuff to look at! We showed up on a weekday night with a couple locals at the bar the food was good, restaurant clean service spot on.. I had a cheese pizza and my friend the mozzarella burger which he said was delicious. All in all a good pub, gangster memorabilia friendly atmosphere. Goodfella’s Bar Grill would be great for a casual night out for adults.
Very rude staff and dislikes anyone, how do I put this, that thinks there's only 2 genders. The parking lot 95% of the time has under 5 cars. You get better food out of a microwave. 110% chance this place will be bought up and turned into something nice, which I'm very happy about.
First time ordering since they are new on Doordash. Ordered a large sausage pizza and mozzarella sticks. Expensive for mozz sticks... Nothing special about them. Your standard mozz sticks. The pizza was a disaster... Slices all flopped and folded over each other. Ordered because Rosati's in St John is closed on Tuesdays and always open to try something new. Didn't work out tonight. Now I love thin crust, but it was so thin it was in shambles when it arrived. And we literally had an average of one piece of sausage per slice. The sauce is VERY peppery. My wife took one bite and decided she's eating something else tonight. I stuck with it simply because we paid $35 for our food... But it's not really good. I won't order again. I was hoping the recent reviews were wrong and that the older reviews for the pizza were correct. That's the not case. It has the potential to be good... Figure out the crust, little more topping, and ease up on the pepper in the sauce. That's a recommendation from someone who makes his own pizza dough and sauce from scratch.
