I was just me and the nice young lady taking my order and a gentleman siting at a table with a slew of papers in front of him possibly the owner ? . Since there was no wait, I stayed while she prepared my sandwich, but I wish I had left as as soon as I'd walked in as the smoke smell was heavy. I mentioned it to the young lady who said it's probably the ovens but it was not that type of smell and it was strong enough and off putting enough to warrant this note.I'm not a fan of this particular Subway not particularly welcoming ever but it was handy and I was hungry. Should have listened to my sixth sense and avoided it. Doubt I cross that threshold again when Lowell and St John both offer more pleasant experiences. The four stars are for the young lady she was trying to do a good job and was pleasant.
Don't waste your time going to this location. It is worth it to drive the extra few minutes to one of the St. John locations where the staff is properly trained and the owner doesn't have to post signs yelling at the customers about their poor service.
I love their salami sandwich I just think their prices are getting out of hand. So, I don't eat them as often as I used to.
THE ORA VIBRATION SEEMED A LITTLE WEIRD, MAYBE DUE TO THE FACT THAT I AM AN ABORIGINAL, INDIGENOUS PERSON BUT, ASIDE FROM THAT IT WAS OKAY!
The service and atmosphere are pure Subway, ok, and clean. This stores's bathroom is off limits still. But I like the sandwiches I've had there. I stick with the hot sandwiches, particularly the chicken. The chicken is real roasted chicken, and there is an ample amount of it on the sandwich. The bread they use isn't high end french, but it is fresh. The flatbread is pretty good also. Good enough that I bought some at the grocery store. Some Subways will sell an extra bread, but this one won't. The cookies are good too. There is a good deal if you add a bottle of soda, a bag of chips and a cookie. A well rounded meal! My store is open until 1 am, so it's a quick, easy late night meal. Wheelchair accessibility: It's doable, but not easy. The door is in a well, and slightly uphill. If you're alone, you have to open the door, come around the corner while keeping the door open, and over the threshold. It's a pain, and easier if you're with someone. Supposedly the staff will help, but they've never offered, and it's hard for them to see you. I guess you could call if you had your phone, but it nullifies the purpose of being ADA compliant.
