However, I received something completely different from what I ordered. When I tried to address the issue, there was no resolution, and I ended up losing both my lunch and my $18. Here’s what I got for that price.
This was my first time visiting the restaurant, and I enjoyed the Shrimp with Garlic Sauce and Red Peppers along with the Fried Rice. The fried rice was unlike any I've had before, and it was absolutely delicious! The Egg Drop Soup was also good. However, I really wished they had the yellow peanut sauce for the shrimp spring rolls, as I didn't find them very appealing without it. Additionally, the egg rolls were burnt. They seemed to be short-staffed at the time and had large delivery orders to handle, so maybe your experience will be different when you try it.
My guests and I have always been treated with great respect, properly seated, and provided with menus. We've enjoyed some of the best pho in town multiple times. In the future, they plan to utilize the front patio for various events, making it an accessible spot for both wheelchair users and families—with a corner filled with toys and games for kids. Additionally, every Wednesday night, they offer discounted pho. I’ve tried the steak, brisket, and meatball combo bowls, and each time, I’m amazed by the generous portion sizes and the incredible value, especially considering the quality of the bone broth and ingredients. I highly recommend this location—it never disappoints whenever I'm in the area!
Tried Chicken w/ Garlic sauce from the lunch menu. The food was ready ahead of time, was hot (temperature wise), and fried rice was included in the already low price!!!! While I didnt eat inside, the restaurant seemed clean and had a play corner for thelittle ones (train table, etc) One negative was that their garlic sauce was a bit on the sweet side, but perhaps that's not mypalette preference.
I normally don’t post reviews like this but wanted to write this review so the owners can make improvements. This has by far been the worst Thai food I have ever had in the greater Austin area. It makes sense that you won’t find the best Asian foodin cedar park, but I don’t understand how someone can botch such simple dishes such as flat rice noodles or Thai curry. 1.The flat rice noodle dish had poor flavoring as it it tasted more like candy rather than a savory dish. Also the noodles were soover cooked that they were all stuck together. Maybe it would be wise to learn how other restaurants are making theirs. 2. Thaicurry was probably worse than the flat rice noodles. It tasted more like coconut milk with more sugar. You can’t taste thecurry at all. Not to forget how bad the steamed rice was. If Costco or HEB had instant Thai curry, it would taste better thanthis. Overall this was such a poor experience. Again, I don’t mean to slam. I just hope there are improvements. If the ownerscared, they’d make changes rather than ignore this. Charging the steep prices for the worst experience in greater Austin isnot acceptable even if you are located in the suburbs.
