Visiting Austin from Dallas, reserved Soto for Christmas Eve because we couldn’t find any other sushi restaurants open on that night. Had no expectations, especially because it sits inconspicuously in a strip mall. Oh boy, were we in for a treat and didn’t know it. Every dish we had was exquisite. 3 of us agreed that it was the best sushi we have had, and we have had some good sushi. Most of the fish was so tender it could be cut with a chopstick. As a word of caution, the food is not cheap, and the dishes are not large. So we wound up with a very large bill, but well worth it. It compares with some of the multi course dinners we’ve had at high-end European restaurants. Very memorable.

Soto is truly one of the best restaurants in Austin, without a doubt! Our server, Sean, was exceptional!

The food and service were fantastic! The prices were a bit on the higher side, but honestly, it was so delicious that it didn't bother us much. We would definitely return!
