Lion Bridge Brewing Co. - Cedar Rapids

The restaurant has a solid selection of beers. I sampled three sour varieties, and all were quite good. We also tried the peroxide and the meatballs; both were decent, but not exceptional.

The IPAs here are above average, and they have some enjoyable sour beers along with decent traditional options. The pub food is good, with the fish tacos being a standout. The chicken sandwiches were okay, but the breading had a slight off taste, which made me wonder if the frying oil was fresh. The pierogis are also a fantastic snack!

This is a fantastic casual brewery with a roomy interior and some outdoor seating that offers a lovely view of the bridge leading to New Bo. The beer selection is intriguing, and the food appears to be quite appetizing. The staff is helpful in guiding you through the decent draft options. Additionally, there are cans available for purchase.

They were really busy and we were told up front that it would be about 45 minutes until our food would come out, but we were seated immediately as it wasn't packed. We also had some popcorn from the almost famous popcorn place to keep us preoccupied until something came out of the kitchen! And even though the wait was long, the waitress took our drink orders and had them out pretty timely, then she would check up on us and give us status updates about our order. I knocked a star off bc there were a couple people seated long after us that received their food quickly. Not sure what happened in the kitchen, but maybe hire more cooks? The food was delicious though and the pierogi skins were so soft and delicious! Almost reminded me of the pierogis i had in Poland... almost ?. The beer cheese burger had a slight kick to it which i really enjoyed... would even have liked if it was a little stronger, but a pleasant surprise nonetheless! Needless to say, the experience was just fine and i had a good conversation with my friend while we waited. When the food came, we didn't talk much though... long day of sight seeing and not eating made us super hungry so we gobbled it all up without coming up for air ?

Bad night as we walked in after a group of 19. We were warned it would be a long wait. Ok with that. However, our first drinks sat empty for an hour as two waiters walked by many times and never asked if we needed anything while we wait. Every single burger or sandwich is served on a pretzel bun. ?apps were good once they came but they were gone before anyone took our order for food. Probably an hour and a half in before that happened and then it still took way too long for the burgers. My husband had to go to the bar to get us a second drink. Just a terrible experience. Some food was good, some not so much. Burgers were premade burger patties. The mgr told us he was going to comp everything, then they come back with free dessert and a $60 bill. Ok? We went from $0-60? So then he comped the alcohol and two meals. We still ended up paying for too much considering. We won’t be giving them a second chance.
