I love the food here; it is always delicious from the sushi to the steak. Service is always professional I make sure I go anytime I am looking for a great meal in a lovely atmosphere.
We made a reservation for six and was given a table for four. My friend sat sideways because a leg on the table was in her way. We ordered wine and I was given the wrong type which I realized halfway through the glass and I gave my friend her wine and she gave me the wine she was drinking! We waited more than thirty minutes to give our order and another thirty minutes for our appetizer. Two young ladies lady were very nice and professional and we told them we were not pleased. Unfortunately the person who delivered the wine was not apologetic and was rude. The manager stated on the way out we should have requested another table. There were no tables for six available or we would have. She stated that the do that all the time and some people consider it intimate. Intimate is for two not six. She was also the bartender when we arrived and made a terrible Cosmopolitan. Not one smile when we ordered or when she gave us the drinks. We paid the bill before we complained about the table and service. We were not looking for any compensation.
The food was average. My dates' surf and turf was average at best. The filet mignon had a large piece of grizzle in it. Not something that you'd expect when paying $50.00 for an entree. My dish was just a little better than average. One word to the staff, stop touching people. The two hostesses, in an overtly friendly way, touched me every time they spoke to me. The waiter every time he served us, he managed to touch my shoulder as if I was his long lost friend. I AM NOT! The staff should be instructed to serve people professionally and stop the rubbing of backs or shoulders. One last thing, despite the criticism, the staff did their best to serve our needs.
We never got the chance to dine there. On a weekday, with just five cars in the lot, they wouldn't let me park my own vehicle. I spoke with the owner, who explained that it was their policy. Unfortunately, I prefer to park my own car, so we decided to take our business elsewhere for lunch.
