Feedback gevenI placed an order over the phone and said I would be paying cash upon delivery. They told me it would take 30 minutes for the delivery to arrive. However, the order was delivered an hour and 15 minutes later. I called the restaurant and was told it was on its way, but it arrived 32 minutes after my call. This resulted in all the food being cold and soggy, as it had been sitting in a car for a long time. When I handed over the cash, I was due £9 in change, which the driver did not have. He said he would take it for my next order, even though I had cash and did not want it to be deducted from my next purchase. Instead of letting me off the £1, he took my money and said he would return later. It has been an hour since he left and I am still waiting. When I called the restaurant, I was told they were very busy.
I ordered a pizza from this restaurant and waited over an hour before calling to check on the status. The server I spoke with was very rude and unhelpful, and even told me not to order from them if I didn't want to wait. I would not recommend ordering from this place.
In summary, I waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for 2 pizzas that never arrived after being told multiple times that the driver was on his way. I was informed that the driver's car had broken down, so I decided to cancel my order and request a refund. However, despite being promised a refund, it was never processed. When I called to inquire about the refund, I was accused of refusing to open my door to the driver, which was not true. I placed the order at 3:36 pm for 2 pizzas and potato wedges and was initially told it would take 45 minutes to an hour. After waiting for over an hour, I called to check on the order's status and was told it was on its way. Another 25 minutes passed, and I called again, only to be informed that the driver's car had broken down, and a new one was en route. At 5:18 pm, I decided to cancel the order and requested a refund, which was supposedly going to be processed. However, when I followed up the next day, I was told a manager had to handle the refund. After weeks of back and forth, I was offered a 50% refund, which I declined, insisting on a full refund since the food never arrived. The restaurant claimed that I had refused to accept the food when the driver arrived, but I had cancelled the order before the driver even showed up. Despite my persistence, I was only offered a partial refund and faced accusations of sending the food back, which was untrue. The customer service experience was frustrating, and I was left without a resolution to the situation.
Great pizza, delivered on time by a friendly guy. Very tasty, nice and warm too. The pizza, not the delivery guy. Although I’m sure he’s wonderful, but I’ve got to use up two hundred words which isn’t easy on a pizza delivery review.
