Room No.9 - Central Bedfordshire

I stopped at this restaurant on a sunny day and sat outside. We were served quickly by a very friendly staff member from the shop below who took our order. The Gluten Free tuna melt was delicious and my mom said the mushrooms on toast were some of the best she's ever had! Overall, it was a lovely place to stop for a quick tea and bite to eat.

This charming cafe has fresh flowers adorning each table. The service is excellent, and their homemade scones and cakes are delightful.

Took my daughter-in-law for afternoon tea. Cream tea plus. It was excellent. The food was superb and loads of it, the service was spot on, fast and unobtrusive and the staff were all so friendly. Marvellous experience. Cannot fault anything. But, a warning, book...in advance! Too many people know about this wonderful place

Lovely surroundings lovely people very chilled comfortable service good latte to die for best one yet nice poached egg on toast butter would have been prefered reasonable pricing a very pleasant lunch

We went here today on a friend's advice and definitely were not disappointed. It was only to be for a coffee and a chat, but one look at the cakes and our willpower disappeared! The staff were welcoming and friendly, but not intrusive, giving us...plenty of time to study the menu Indeed, if I hadn't got a lunchtime work meeting to go to we'd have been induced to have that too. The cakes themselves were soft and delicious (you need to try the Victoria Sponge) and we will most certainly be back when we have more time.
