The Malt Shovel - Central Bedfordshire

Had late lunch on a Saturday. The food was excellent we has Tapas, really tasty and a good variety. The staff were welcoming, approachable and were genuinely pleased that we had a good meal and experience. Will go again! Good value as well.

Recently visit the malt shovel with freinds to try out there festive menu and I was not disappointed! I tried for Japanese Christmas dinner fried chicken) which was fantastic! And had the Yuzu cheesecake for pudding something that I’ve never had before, solid 10/10 hats off to the chef, would highly recommend and will be back to try the rest of the festive menu! As always great customer service! I picked a good night to visit as they was trying out there new Christmas cocktail which was dangerously good! Will be back soon!

The BEST roast beef I have ever tasted!! Staff are brilliant the rest of the food was amazing! The only slight negative was that puddings were served with ice cream not custard, but we’re hoping tomorrow, custard will be available!!! Definitely recommend

A group of us went this evening. Food and service were superb. Very impressed. Lovely decor too. You won’t be disappointed.

A friend recommended we try the Sunday lunch and it really was worth it, highly recommend the roast beef! Lovely food staff at good prices. Will definitely return!
