Face - Central City

Well, we went to the Central City Opera, and when finished we thought we 'd get a beverage. We went to The Face Bar without even knowing what it was all about. Unlike a ghost from the past, there 's no dark origin to the Face on the Bar Room Floor in the Teller House bar. It 's just an oil painting on a floor, but if you are in the area I would say it is a must see. Oh and the beverages are good and the service is cool.

Rouge has been replaced by a super tasty BBQ joint, just opened October 2018 named JKG Smokehouse BBQ. Full bar still functioning with the painted face still in place!

Tour guide was very interesting. Nice young lady. Very helpful getting me into the bar where Face Is On The Floor. She found safe entrance as I can't step too well without a railing. Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

The service provided by Danette was awesome. The lunch menu was full of very interesting choices all made from scratch nothing is frozen. We selected the Colorado Cobb Salad, Blackened Shrimp Tacos and Soy Glazed Salmon Salad. Eating our selections in an establishment from the 1800 's was over the top. The plating of each selection combined with the taste is truly an amazing treasure. If you 're up in Central City do make your way here for some GREAT FOOD AND BEVERAGE.
